Environmentally friendy solutions
Eco-friendly solutions are at the forefront of our efforts, seeking alternative fuels and continuously improving our daily operations. Ylärakkola Logistics currently operates one LNG truck, using biogas as fuel. In addition to the biogas truck, the company has seven HCT vehicle combinations, reducing the need for transportation cycles by carrying more in a single transport. For example, in sea container transport, this means transporting two 40' containers in one haul.
In our day-to-day work, we monitor environmental impact by observing daily vehicle consumption. Our drivers receive ongoing training on their driving habits, and internally, we've established guidelines on how we move and behave on the roads."
